This 4-star hotel is located in the modern residential area of the city called Celas, 100 metres from the university hospital and 15 minutes walk from the famous university. We are strategically served by a ring-road linked to the motorways and main roads, so, it's very easy to reach any direction. Our reception, lobby, restaurant and bar are very well served by pleasant natural light and an always available reception team that welcome you with a smile.

Open since 1 February 1994, Tryp Coimbra is a modern and functional 4-star hotel. It is well served by main roads, so it's easy to get to the hotel, to reach the city centre, or to head in any other direction. A young, attentive and available team is on hand to make sure that your stay or event is successful, upholding the tradition of the Solmelia chain's hospitality.
Our reception, lobby, restaurant and bar are very well served by pleasant natural light. International and typical Portuguese food is offered to our guests in Magistrado Restaurant, seating up to 120 people. Buffet breakfast is available from 07:30 to 10:30, lunch from 12:30 to 15:00 and dinner from 19:30 to 22:00. The guest can also enjoy a drink from 10:30 to 01:00 in our Magistrado bar and on Thursday and Friday evenings while listening to live music. On Saturday evenings the client may also appreciate the piano music.
Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate.
No deposit will be charged.

Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and charges are applicable. Internet via modem is available in the business centre and costs EUR 3.00 per 30 minutes.

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.
All children are welcome. All children under 4 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children from 5 to 12 years are charged EUR 4.38 per night and person for extra beds. All older children or adults are charged EUR 21.60 per night and person for extra beds. There is no capacity for extra beds in the room. Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
